Photo gallery in May is now posted!
Every month, we post three photos taken by different theme!
Theme of each month may come from assignment of photo school where I learn, or request from you, or my personal challenging pieces etc. In short, any themes are OK. But, the best photos in the month!
To take better pictures, it’d be better to have more people to look at them. It is also wonderful to communicate through photos. That’s why we post photos every month!
This month theme : “My preferred place”
All of three photos were homework of photo school. Due to Coronavirus, classes are held on-line from last month. As it’s been “Stay Home” period, special rule was set that we needed to take photos only at home.
My preferred place at home is “balcony”. It is a special place at my home where we can see all flowers and vegetables that we grow.
The first photo is double-flowered tulips blooming on the balcony. The Dutch bulbs that I planted last fall grew and bloomed so shining.
The second one is a small bench placed facing the balcony. This is most praised by my teacher as said, “much sense of life, good framing, carpet’s color is impressive”. However, as the bench might look “shelf”, it’d be even better if place the bench differently as it looks like it.
The third one is the same tulips that are getting scattered. I wanted to express the loneliness of tulip disappearing. At the photo school, we are always asked “what is the leading character?” “can you shoot the leading character clearly?”. Even if we shoot full blooming cherry blossoms, the teacher would ask “which flower is the leading character?”.
His comment on this photo is also “what is the leading character? If it is the scattered petals , it was much better to take it from closer position.” The person who took (me) was not conscious that leading character was petals. In short, I took the photo without knowing the leading character in the subject and just tried hard to take the whole flowers..
Taking photo is so profound!
