Camera bag for Alpha 7 III. Crumpler’s pouches just fit in Vanguard’s camera backpack
The size of the camera is fixed to some extent, therefore it may not be so unusual. But..
Crumpler’s camera pouch called Banana bowl which is simple, durable, easy to carry, and cute in design, is my favorite. It has M and S size which perfectly fit into Vanguard’s camera backpack VEO SELECT 45M! That’s so convenient!
Camera backpack is needed for Alpha 7 III
Before I bought Alpha 7 III, I put my Alpha 5100, its interchangeable lens, filters, a spare battery and a memory card all in S size of Banana bowl and used it as a bag-in-bag of my everyday backpack, when I went out for shooting.
When I bought Alpha 7 III, I bought Banana bowl’s M size and intended to use in the same way, but as M size is slight bigger, it is a bit difficult to take out the pouch smoothly from the backpack. Moreover, Alpha 7 lll is large and heavy, it is necessary to have a camera backpack.
So, I bought Vanguard’s camera backpack, VEO SELECT 45M!
Full-real opening with zipper is extremely easy to take out a camera. It can be used in 2 ways, both backpack and shoulder bag. In addition, it has a sleeve that can be connected to the handle of wheel-along carry case, it is convenient for any transportation. It is a stylish designed camera backpack.
Originally, we could organize and arrange gears finely with dividers attached
Vanguard’s camera backpack come with lots of dividers to finely divide the inside compartment. The dividers are velcro, so I need to peel it off and stick it to change the arrangement. Even so, it takes time and effort to perfectly arrange camera and all other equipment that I have.
It is so much helpful to take out gears from full opened rear compartment, but I’m bit concerned that equipment inside might be slipped out if they are put like below.
Yeah, I know camera backpack has such a organizing system not only Vanguard.
Crumpler’s Banana bowls fit snugly into the top and rear compartments!
First of all, in the real compartment, a set of Alpha 7 III in Banana bowl’s M size fits perfectly. It is in vertical direction to take out a camera and gears inside the pouch, no need to worry about being slipped out. If you open the zipper of the Banana bowl, you can take out things just by opening the top lid like below.
Next is the top compartment. Here, I can put my Banana bowl S size containing the set of Alpha 5100 perfectly.
If you see from the top, it is looked like below. Very east to take out gears!
Then you can put a bottled water or a tripod into the side pocket of the camera backpack, and flat items such as memo pad into the side or front zipper pockets. The essentials such as wallet and smartphone, I put them in my pant’s side pockets (by the way, mont-bell‘s climber’s pants have lots of zipper pockets, and are excellent for water and cold protection. One of the best outfit for shooting.)
Though manufacturers are different, both can fit perfectly each other! Is this a coincidence or an inevitability? Anyway, it is very convenient! If I put my Alpha cameras in the pouches, I can take them out quickly and feel safe, and it is also easy to carry them at home.
Let’s go out light for shooting with just one camera backpack!
